Mounting evidence is showing that carpal tunnel syndrome often has less to do with the nerves and muscles of the arm and wrist and more to do with the nerves and muscles of the neck and shoulders.
In a 1985 study of over 1000 patients, the Journal of Hand Surgery noted correlations between carpal tunnel syndrome and cervical arthritis.
Degenerative arthritis of the spine can cause an increase in pressure on the spinal nerves and spinal cord itself. Since chiropractic is the detection, correction, and management of subluxation which can cause spinal nerve pressure, it’s no wonder these patients get relief when their spine is adjusted gently and specifically.
If you or someone you love has wrist pain, have a spinal evaluation by your Kennesaw chiropractor to determine the cause, and get it corrected naturally!
